Ahoy there! If you've participated in the Giving is Awesome giveaways, this is the snazzy little dropoff point for your completed images. As we want the world to know how fabbity-fab you are, choose your favorite images from a GIA session, save them at 72 dpi, 900 px wide at baseline resolution in BLACK AND WHITE, and voila! Ready to upload!
Why black and white? With all the crazy color permutations out there, we GIA-staffers (and by staffers, I mean the three of us volunteers who keep this puppy runnin') prefer to showcase the beauty of the relationship, the portraits, and/or the story behind Giving is Awesome, not the photographers' latest trendy processing skills. We love you, really! Simplicity is key!
When uploading your images, you must must must also include a copy of your signed Model Release form proving you have consent from the models, their parents and/or their legal guardians to display the images on the Giving is Awesome blog. A JPEG or PDF will do.
Make sure you have your confirmation number handy! (Remember that happy little e-mail that gave you a confirmation number from Giving is Awesome in early March, 2009?) You'll need that number to submit your images.
